Straight answers about the PRIME Programme, supplements, AI coaching, bloodwork and everything else. No jargon, no hype — just what you need to know.
The PRIME Programme
The PRIME Programme is a 12-part online course covering strength, mobility and nutrition for people over fifty. Built around compound lifts, joint-safe progressions and a patient approach that respects a body in its second half. Delivered at your own pace, from home.
No fixed end date. Most work through the 12 modules over 12 to 16 weeks, moving at their own pace. It is a training framework to follow indefinitely, not a programme you finish and abandon.
Yes. Designed for home training with minimal equipment. A set of resistance bands and a chair get you through the early modules. Adjustable dumbbells and a bench unlock the full programme later.
Built specifically for the over-50 body, with regressions and joint-safe alternatives for every movement. If you have a health condition or have been inactive, speak to your GP first — common sense, not a disclaimer.
A chair, clear floor space and optional resistance bands are enough to begin. Adjustable dumbbells, a pull-up bar and a bench unlock the full range. Our Gear page has recommendations with price ranges.
Most programmes are built for twenty-five-year-olds then softened. PRIME is built from the ground up for the over-50 body — different recovery timelines, joint demands and priorities. A different discipline, not a lighter version.
Three short sessions a week — roughly 35 to 45 minutes each — is enough for real, lasting progress. The programme is built around consistency, not marathon gym sessions. Twenty minutes you do beats ninety you skip.
No. The early modules are built for home with resistance bands and a chair. As you progress, a few well-chosen pieces of kit — adjustable dumbbells, a bench, a pull-up bar — unlock the full range. The Equipment page lists exactly what to buy.
With Part 01 of the PRIME Programme — Foundation Assessment. It gives an honest starting point across strength, mobility and habits before you lift a thing. Start where you are, not where you wish you were.
Every movement has regressions and joint-safe alternatives — that is the point of building it for the over-50 body. But if you have a current injury or a condition you are managing, speak to your GP or a physio first. Prime Life Labs is not a clinician.
The PRIME Programme is the full 12-part journey — assessment through to a system you own for life. PRIME Tactical is the library of shorter, focused mini-guides you can drop into for one specific problem. Most start with the Programme and use Tactical to go deeper.
Yes. The methodology is built for the second half of life, not one gender. The principles apply to everyone over fifty. Where the science differs by sex, such as bone density and hormones, the programme points it out plainly rather than ignoring it.
The PRIME Programme is a one-time purchase with lifetime access — no monthly trap. Supplements, gear and books are optional and bought separately as you need them. We would rather you own the system than rent it.
Supplements
Yes. Every supplement is manufactured in the UK to GMP standards. Real formulations with transparent labels — no proprietary blends, no fillers. What is on the label is what is in the capsule.
Produced by a UK-based manufacturer under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Every batch is tested for purity and potency. We chose the manufacturer, the formulations, and we stand behind both.
Check with your GP or pharmacist before combining any supplement with prescription medication. We cannot advise on drug interactions — that is a medical question and we are not clinicians. Your pharmacist can tell you in two minutes.
Most notice improved energy and sleep within two to four weeks. Strength and body composition changes typically show between eight and twelve weeks of consistent use alongside proper training. Supplements support the work, they do not replace it.
A curated bundle of daily essentials: a high-quality protein, a comprehensive multivitamin, an omega-3 and a joint support formula — the four pillars most people over fifty are deficient in, based on current evidence.
Yes. Every supplement is a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. Subscriptions save a percentage and you can pause, skip or cancel anytime — no contracts, no minimum.
PRIME Coach & the App
An AI-powered assistant trained on the PRIME Programme methodology. It answers training questions, helps adjust exercises and guides you through the programme — available whenever you need it.
Yes, PRIME Coach is artificial intelligence, not a human in a chat window. It draws on the PRIME methodology and Harland's coaching principles, but responses are generated by a model. It can make mistakes, so treat its guidance as a starting point.
No, and we will never claim it can. PRIME Coach is a knowledge tool. A personal trainer watches you move, adjusts form in real time and provides accountability no algorithm matches.
PRIME Coach does not give medical advice and should never substitute for your GP. It is trained on fitness and nutrition, not clinical protocols. If you have a medical question, ask a doctor — not a chatbot.
PRIME Coach is included with the PRIME Programme purchase. No separate subscription fee. Own the programme, you have access to the coach.
The basic app is free and gives you daily structure, habit tracking and your starting point. The full programme and PRIME Coach live inside the paid tier. Start free, see how it fits, upgrade only when it has earned it.
Bloodwork, Gear & Books
A comprehensive bloodwork panel designed for adults over fifty. It goes beyond the standard NHS check to measure biomarkers that matter for strength, recovery and longevity — testosterone, vitamin D, inflammatory markers and metabolic health.
No. Prime Life Labs does not prescribe, dispense or sell peptides. We provide educational information about peptide research as it relates to ageing and recovery. Any decision about peptide use must be made with a qualified medical professional.
You order the PRIME Bloods panel, receive a pathology form and visit a partnered clinic for a standard blood draw. Results are processed by a UKAS-accredited laboratory and returned to your secure portal within a few working days. Harland provides a plain-English interpretation.
Yes. Blood draws are performed by qualified phlebotomists at accredited clinics. All laboratory work is conducted by UKAS-accredited facilities following strict clinical protocols. Standard medical-grade testing, not a DIY kit.
A short, honest list: resistance bands, a chair, adjustable dumbbells, a foam roller, and — for cardio — simply walking. The kit is sourced so you are not wading through ten near-identical listings. You need the right few things, not much.
Yes. The programme and Tactical guides are available as KDP paperbacks and on Kindle, plus a range of planners and journals built for the over-50 life — daily, annual, strength, longevity, wealth and habit. Instant PDF versions are also available.
